Rather than cycling on paved roads, cycling on other tracks is considered gravel cycling. This includes gravel, dirt, rocky terrain, canal tracks, woodchips, and other uneven materials. Gravel routes frequently lead riders away from paved roads and other built environment, leaving them immersed in nature!
