Tullamore Cycling and Touring Club in association with the Irish Kidney Association and Down Syndrome Offaly are delighted to welcome all cyclists to partake in the 2019 edition of the Pat Colgan Charity Cycle. The cycle takes place on August 25th 2019.
4 exciting and challenging routes.
Sign-On is located at The Tullamore Harriers Athletic Grounds in Charleville Road and will open at 8:00am. Roll out is from 9am for the 125km and 95km. The 85km rolls out at 9:20am. Couch to 50 km will depart at 9.30am 4 Peaks Ultimate Challenge 125 km 4 Peaks Ultimate Challenge Yellow route will leave at 9am sharp. This route includes the Cut North, the Wolftrap, Glendine West and the Cut South with 1444 m of climbing. To complete the 4 peaks, cyclists must be leaving the Kinnitty food stop at 11.45. Anybody after that time can finish on the 95km Red Route. There will be no mechanical/civil defence support for anybody who wishes to continue the 125km after 11.45.
2 Peaks Endurance Challenge 95 km 2 Peaks Endurance Red Route will leave at 9.10am sharp. This route includes the Cut North and the Wolftrap with 828 m of climbing
Base of the Blooms challenge 85 km Base of the Blooms White Route will leave at 9.20am sharp. Relatively flat course alongside the Slieve Bloom mountains with 300 metres of climbing.
Couch to 50 Our Couch to 50 Green Route will leave at 9.30 sharp. Flat course where nobody will be left behind.
